11.11 Happy Pepero Day!

Happy pepero day! OMG, my JongKey is back! In this sweet day, Key share a video through Instagram about his pepero day with Jonghyun. For you who want to watch it, click here.

Well, now let me to tell you about what is Pepero Day.
So, this story was start on 1994, the first time when Pepero Day was made. The author was a girls on Junior High School (special for girls) in Busan. They exchanged Pepero sticks as gifts to wish one another to grow as tall and slender as a Pepero (stick).

So, Pepero Day is just like Valentine Day. ^_^

Pepero is a product of Lotte since 1983. Why did it call "Pepero Day"? Because it takes on 11 November, resemble to 4 sticks of Pepero. Then Lotte encouraged to make 11 November as the national holiday due to  "Pepero Day".

It has various tastes, those are regular (chocolate), strawberry, chocolate almond, nude, nude lemon cheese, chocoa, soft, cheese, women in white and men in black, and chocolate covered pretzel stick. ^_^

Well, sounds delicious right? Here, the local product that resemble to Pepero is Pocky, the product of Glico (Japan). It's expensive, though, but I'm pretty sure it's super delicious! Let's share it to our beloved person. Happy pepero day everyone!

[Review] SHINee "Everybody" Album

I’ve just listened to SHINee’s “Everybody” full album. (LOL, what kind of fans am I) I’m really attracted to it since I heard the teaser of “Symptoms” and I just like,”OMG, it’s going to be awesome!” and what I’ve guessed before was true! But before tell you much chit-chat, I’ll write down my review about this mini album. For you who haven’t listen to it, go download the full album, xoxo.

1.       Everybody

This song… Hm, no doubt if it’s chosen to represent the album! I really love that dubstep touch, haha, because my friends told me about “Skrillex” (one of dubstep DJ) and I’m so curious how if SHINee make a dubstep song. But I’m a little bit disappointed that the dubstep touch is just for some part, like in its reff, haha. But overall that dubstep have already made me so happy! And that enthusiastic robot-dance. I don’t know how to call it, but it’s okay if I say that’s a robot-dance. The moves when Jonghyun jump around, haha, so funny! I was wondering is that little boy in the intro of its MV was Yoogeun, huhu, that cute boy. Well, the song has a powerful dance choreography, cheerful tone, dubstep touch, hm… I give 3 stars from 5.

2.       Symptoms

This song was made by Jonghyun and Onew. At the first time I heard this I don’t enthusiast too much, maybe because at that time I was so interest to “Everybody”. But after I replay it for the whole day, I’ve just realized that I love it so much (until now)! It has a deep meaning, did Jonghyun really have it in real life? I don’t know, xoxo. Alright, about the melody, I think it’s kind of beat-ballad song. All members show their good quality voice here, from Jonghyun that already known as “blingbling” voice with his high-pitch, Onew’s soft voice, Taemin’s, and Key’s. But it’ll be better if Minho got his part more, hft, or at least Jonghyun gave him rap part.  I guess actually he has a good voice, haha. My favorite part are when Key sang “Sumi, sumi, sumi meomchyeo, oh” and “Ddangjjang michyeo beoriljji”. Those are so great! And I don’t know if their live performance was great! They dance along to this song. Slow beat-ballad song with dance? Not bad. I rate this 4 from 5.

3.       Queen of New York

What a lovely song! I’m start to love this song since the intro. Got shocked when Minho said something there,”The way she walks.” Haha, so sexy! The melody is sounds like Broadway song, isn’t it? But it still has R&B touch here. Well, great combination! Key’s voice just too great here, omg! But I really don’t get any feeling here, even if I keep humming into this song. Maybe because it doesn’t have deep meaning? I don’t know, but I’ll give this song 3 stars from 5.

4.       One Minute Back

The intro part make me feel scared! Haha. That “ppung-ppung” voice is freak for me. The different melody between intro and reff part makes me confused. And Minho’s speak part in the middle of this song disturb me so. The rap part… Hm, it isn’t as good as the other rap. But I really love the melody of it’s reff. But overall I’m not so interest to this song.

5.       Destination

I don’t know what should I write here for this song… Huhu. I don’t get any interest to this song. As for me this song is just as “not-wow” as “One Minute Back”, eventhough I prefer “One Minute Back”. But at least it has an easy-listening melody. Well, thumbs down.

6.       Close The Door

OMG, finally come to another of my favorite song on this mini album! Should admit that such of violin in intro is sweet, so easy-listening and relaxing. I can feel gloomy effect when I heard into this! Can I say “I love you” for its author? Haha, especially when I read the translation. Two thumbs up! Sounds like original sound track for a drama, I’m humming and replay this song again and again. Just like the other song, I knew that it was so easy listening. Calming yourself! But I don’t know why their vocal quality aren’t so good here. Those falsetto on reff… They had better didn’t sing it. At least I really love the translation, melody, and Minho’s rap! Daebakkk! 4 stars from 5!

7.       Colorful

Their pronunciation of “Colorful” are little bit awkward. Once again this song is easy-listening. But I can catch if this song is sweet and about fall in love (maybe?) R&B touch everywhere. Just need more beat to upgrade this song to be my another favorite song! Well, if I keep listening to it maybe I can fall in love to it.

So this is the conclusion. After listen to “Everybody” as the first track, then “Symptoms”, “Queen of New York”, and “Close The Door”, I realized that there’s no more song that can make me feel “wow”. Too monotone and I can’t get any interest to it. But because it’s SHINee who sing into it, I ought to like it. Well, I like the song, but not at all. For example, I don’t like that much to “One Minute Back” and “Destination”, and I don’t know what is the reason.

[Review] My Pond's Facial Foam

Hi, everybody! ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ﾉ
It's a hot season here and I really need something to fresh up my face -_- I miss those rainy season, huhu. And my mother bought me a new facial foam few days ago, and I just like "OMG, how did she know it?" Haha~ And this facial foam is my favorite one because I've used it since I was a Junior High School Students.
It's Pond's!

Well, I don't know why exactly I like this brand. Maybe because my Mom told me to use it, haha.
My first review is about what I've used for this month. It's Pond's Clear Solutions : Anti-Bacterial Facial Scrub.

Just like the other Pond's product, it has a sweet floral scent~ Maybe this is the first reason why do I really love Pond's, hoho. And even if I use another product after wash my face with this, the floral scent doesn't irritate to another product! It consist of blue granule, rather rough when I rub it on my hand, but I guess it's the herbal clay. When I have a big breakouts around my nose (it's annoy me so), after a several times I use this product, that pimple grow smaller for each day. I love this so much! Thanks, Pond's! And I can feel that "squeaky feeling" all around my face. It cleanses without drying my skin and without left slimy residue that other cleanser and soap do. Dirt and oil in my face feels like just fly away~ Really recommended for oily face.

But I noticed that the effect of that "squeaky feeling" just stand for a few moments. And I need to use a big amount of it, because it create less foam. It's extravagant for me, hoho.
These are the product claim.

•  Anti bacterial with highly absorbing herbal clay infused with Neem plant extract.
• Removes dirt, oil and acne-causing bacteria to prevent breakouts.

And the second review is about Pond's White Beauty : Lightening Facial Foam.

It also has a floral scent. I just need to use a little amount of it to make a lot of foam! It also gives me "squeaky feeling", cleanses without drying my skin. It doesn't have granule. But the big different is it brighter my face after several using! What do I really need, hoho. It removes away my dullness, and I really love it.
These are the product claim.

• Makes the skin look brighter blush and glow.
• Thorough cleaning with.
• Reduces dullness and brightens skin.

After use both of it, I prefer Pond's White Beauty : Lightening Facial Foam. Why? Because it's not too extravagant and that bright effect on my face really make me fall in love to it. Well, maybe the other one can reduce the dullness on my face, but it isn't as good as Lightening Facial Foam, even the price is same. It just about IDR 17.000.

Jonghyun is Mama's Boy

The picture above is taken before Jonghyun have a concert in Japan. Can you see it? I feels like love is in the air, hoho. Yeah, no doubt if Jonghyun's mom love him so much.
Just like when SHINee had a broadcast on KBS2TV variety show, "Hello", last 28th October. There, one man talked about never receiving love or attention from his mother.  He said, "My one and only mother has no interest in me and even though I do all sorts of aegyo, she curses at me." Jonghyun, however, revealed that he had the complete opposite problem.  He said, "My mother was the director of a day care center and still treats me like a child." He stated, "My mother used to be a director at a nursery, and to this very day, she treats me like a child." Despite being 24 years old, Jonghyun is treated like a baby when it comes to his mom. Formal language in Korean, when spoken in the right tone, could sound like baby talk. It ain't just started for this present times, but since Jonghyun was in Senior High School, her mom is a caring person who always support him whatever he did. In an interview with Kool Magazine, he said that other biggest influences is his family. His biggest influence is from his mother. He said,"My mother really believes in me, she will let me do whatever I want to do, when I was choosing the path for my future, she said “Just take the path that you want to go!”  It was the same when I was promoted to high school, I was in Year 2 when I mentioned that I was thinking of transferring schools in order to learn music, my mother always let me walk the path that I choose. It also gave me a lot of strength because of my mother’s belief in me."

[TUTORIAL] Eyes Makeup Inspired by Ulzzang

Good evening everybody! A lot of you maybe asked about how does ulzzang can be looked so cute and chic. Especially about how do they create that elongated wing on their eyes which made it looks bigger, or we often call it "dolly-eyes" effect.

So now, here I'll give you some tutorial that I've got from internet. A lot of style that you can try at home, but I won't show you how does it take effect on my eyes. Maybe I'll try it next time? Hoho, just waiting!

Q : How does Ulzzang create that "dolly-eyes" effect?

A : Add eye lens first!

 

Well, no doubt if ulzzang's eyes are gorgeus and cute. It's all 'caused of those thing we call "eye lens". A lot of online shop sell eye lens now, with various brand. I don't know if there is a specific different between those eye lens which we bought on local store or imported, but the one from Korea are the best, I think :D

See? Those are cute! >_< I have a tips if you want to use eye lens. Eye lens have various color, so choose a color that matches with the color of your skin and your personality, just be yourself! For example, if you are dark-skinned, light-colored contact lenses such striking blue and purple would look horrible in your eyes. Black contact lenses usually give the impression of wide eyes, so if you've already have wide eyes, select only the natural colors (clear, brown, gray). ;)

Do not overuse of contact lenses. Well, maybe we just want to looks prettier than usual (xoxo), so use it properly for take self-capture.

Do you know if ulzzang have another "secret-weapon"? Yup, it is "eyeliner"! Different with gyaru from Japan, ulzzang's eyeliner use are more natural. Well, in some case they use it over, but for casual looks they use it in small amount.

The important point why does their eyes look bigger are that elongated wing and right using of eyeshadow. It makes smoky eyes effect.

There are a lot of eyeliner types. Liquid, pen, kohl, and many more. The one which easy to use is pen (for amateur), but my favorite one is the liquid eyeliner, because it gives long-lasting smoky eyes effect. I know it'll be hard at the first time to use eyeliner. But as for me, after took 5 usage (3 days), finally I can use it better, but I know it still haven't perfect yet. -_-

• Apply primer around the eyelids.
• Brush light brown eyeshadow on the inner eyelids. Follow your eye line.
• Brush dark brown eyeshadow on the upper side of light brown eyeshadow layer, and blend it.
• Apply eyeliner. For a heavy smoky eyes effect, use it thicker and draw it upward! It makes elongated-wing.
• Apply light eyeliner (white eyeliner) on the down side of your eyes (near the nasal bone).
• Don't forget to use mascara ;)
