Well, now let me to tell you about what is Pepero Day.
So, this story was start on 1994, the first time when Pepero Day was made. The author was a girls on Junior High School (special for girls) in Busan. They exchanged Pepero sticks as gifts to wish one another to grow as tall and slender as a Pepero (stick).
So, Pepero Day is just like Valentine Day. ^_^
Pepero is a product of Lotte since 1983. Why did it call "Pepero Day"? Because it takes on 11 November, resemble to 4 sticks of Pepero. Then Lotte encouraged to make 11 November as the national holiday due to "Pepero Day".
It has various tastes, those are regular (chocolate), strawberry, chocolate almond, nude, nude lemon cheese, chocoa, soft, cheese, women in white and men in black, and chocolate covered pretzel stick. ^_^
Well, sounds delicious right? Here, the local product that resemble to Pepero is Pocky, the product of Glico (Japan). It's expensive, though, but I'm pretty sure it's super delicious! Let's share it to our beloved person. Happy pepero day everyone!
